Work with us

Help us to change the interior design industry by becoming a Partner with United in Design.

Becoming a Professional Partner

Guiding someone based on your own personal or professional experience is an invaluable tool for the next generation. We will match you with a passionate mentee.

Please complete the online application form below. Once this has been reviewed, you will be sent a Welcome Pack explaining everything you need to do to start your journey as a professional partner. Your company will then be listed and promoted as a member of the United in Design movement via the website and on social media.

Please make sure to read the Requirements for Professional Partners before submitting your online application form.

Requirements for Professional Partners

United in Design is a non-profit organisation. We are funded via partner subscription fees, annual fundraising events and sponsors.

All funds will be used to resource the charity and to help fund and support the initiatives and its participants. We hope to fund or subsidise scholarships, bursaries, internship placements, travel costs etc. Upon receiving your Welcome Pack you will be invited to contribute to the annual subscription fee, as outlined below.

  • Individuals or companies with less than 5 members of staff: £250 per year

  • Companies with 5 to 15 members of staff: £500 per year

  • Companies with over 15 members of staff: £1250 per year

In doing so, your company can display the United in Design logo on your website to act as a signal to those who might want to enter into the industry that you are in support of and actively promoting inclusion and diversity in the world of Interior Design.

From partnership requirements, application forms and information about our mentoring programmes, this page is your first step to making an impact.

We have always been very conscious of the lack of diversity within our industry and have been determined to create a working environment that welcomes people from all backgrounds and ethnicities. We were absolutely delighted to be able to work with United in Design and offer placements to some wonderful talents. We are lucky enough to have a brilliant designer in our team who we discovered through the initiative and who has continued to demonstrate the amazing determination and talent she impressed us with on our first meeting.  United In Design facilitates eminently worthwhile introductions and has given us the opportunity to meet people who have added great value and joy to our Turner Pocock family.

Meet our partners for 2023/24

We at KGD have found the UiD internship programme incredibly beneficial over the last two years and very much hope to be able to continue doing it on a yearly basis.
The internship programme is incredibly well organised. The pool of candidates put forward to us have already been through an initial selection process and as such are all of an incredibly high standard with the skills we need. The interview process was well organised, and it was really interesting to be interviewing along with other companies.
The work UiD are doing is incredibly important and we have really enjoyed being part of it.
