Students & Design Enthusiasts

During the morning session, students and design enthusiasts will be offered the opportunity to network with leading designers, get hints, tips and practical advice on how to enter the design industry.

• Journey into the Industry: A Q&A hosted by Simon Hamilton and a panel of leading professionals
• How to Brand and Market your new design business: Branding Consultants pl_studio talk you through how to develop a strong brand identity
• Meet our Apprentices: Hear from our winning UiD Apprentices and their inspirational journey into design
• Portfolio and CV Clinic: Have your Portfolio and CV reviewed by our professionals and get hints and tips on how to present at interview
• Recruitment Drive: Meet potential employers and access our Jobs Board
• Designers “Meet & Greet”: A chance to engage in a Q&A session with renowned interior designers
Design Professionals, Brands & Suppliers
2.30pm to 6pm
During the morning session, students and design enthusiasts will be offered the opportunity to network with leading designers, get hints, tips and practical advice on how to enter the design industry.
The afternoon will be dedicated to industry professionals, brands and suppliers; a celebration of our collective achievements and an opportunity to thank you all for your support, to hear from our members and further educate ourselves on how to create an inclusive, diverse and thriving industry for all.

• Apprenticeship Partners: Hear from our partners who have just hosted our Apprentices
• How to build an inclusive business and brand: Ama Afrifa-Tchie a Culture and Inclusion Consultant gives advice on how to create an inclusive working environment
• Become an effective Mentor: Isabel Farchy from the Creative Mentor Network (CMN) guides you through the process to foster a positive and productive Mentor/Mentee relationship

An opportunity for the industry to network, hear from our members, support United in Design and further educate ourselves on how to create an inclusive, diverse and thriving industry for all.
