Introducing United in Design Apprentices for 2023/24

We are thrilled to welcome our new cohort of United in Design apprentices for 2023/24. Here’s all you need to know about our new apprentices and their placements.

Tehmina Janjua

The lovely Tehmina joins us after graduating with a first class honorary degree in Interior Design from the School of Art, Architecture and Design at the London Metropolitan University.

Tehmina’s placements will be with Accouter Design, Nicola Harding, Dodds & Shute and Porta Romana.

Ebony Dobbs

We’re very excited to welcome Ebony to our apprenticeship scheme this year. Ebony is originally from Manchester and studied Interior Design at Edinburgh University, graduating in 2020.

“Art and Design have been two of my main interests for as long as I can remember, and two of the things I feel I’m best at.”

Ebony’s placements will be with Colefax and Fowler, Tom Faulkner, Studio Ashby and Bryan O’Sullivan.

Ashleigh Wilson

The super talented Ashleigh is a recent graduate from De Montfort University, where she studied both her BA in Interior Design and MA in Design Management and Entrepreneurship. Ashleigh is originally from the small island of Bermuda and we are thrilled to have her as an apprentice this year.

Ashleigh's placements will be with Redbook Agency, Hubert Zandberg Interiors, Kate Guinness Design and World of Interiors.

Thana Elkamel

Thana studied Interior Architecture at the University of Brighton, graduating with a first class honours. We are so excited to see the wonderful things she will achieve during her apprenticeship.

Thana’s placements will be with Brady Williams, Eggersmann Design, Elle Decoration and Carden Cunietti.

Bolatito (Bola) Sibanda

Introducing our wonderful apprentice Bolatito (Bola). Bola is a UAL interior design graduate and interested in all aspects of interior design, from styling to technical drawings.

“I love learning about different cultures through travelling and reading. I really enjoy content creating and I look forward to documenting my time at United in Design!”

Bola’s placements will be with Pooky, House & Garden, Laura Hammett and David Collins Studio Ltd.

Josephine Mensah

And lastly, but certainly not least, we introduce the amazing Josephine. Josephine started her interior journey with her BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design from the University of Portsmouth; achieving a First Class Honours in 2021.

Josephine’s placements will be with Invisible Collection, Rachel Allen Interiors, Natalia Miyar Atelier and These White Walls.
